Double Bit Hatchet / Throwing Axe.

This axe is hand-forged from a solid piece of high quality tool steel AISI 1066 (65G). This new technique allows for a more consistent results and longer edge life when sharpening down the blade through years. The handle is made from European Ash, soaked in special tung oil mixture. The axe has a leather inlay on the handle and walnut brown leather sheaths made from full grain leather that we source from a local tannery. 

Each axe has its own unique serial number on the back side of the handle. We also engrave the names of the master craftsmen and craftswomen who made the specific axe and month and year of birth when the axe was crafted. 

Custom engraving possible on the axe handle. Maximum length is 30 characters.
